Luigi Calcagno opened Zibiru two years ago taking over a pretty garden space on Jalan Drupadi that suits the locanda feel style of the menu and the jazz night atmosphere on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Luigi brings his expertise in French and Italian cooking to the forefront of the restaurant by providing a smallish menu that is created from fresh ingredients and is freshly prepared in the kitchen as you order. Good food is worth waiting for and his Salti in Bocca and his Barramundi with the delicious caper and olive sauce are two of our favorites, but maybe our most favorite dish is Luigi himself, he always makes time to greet and chat with his guests, and is a delightful host who makes us feel most at home.
