Located in Seminyak, Bali, Zibiru is a purveyor of traditional, regional Italian cuisine from Executive Chef Luigi Calcagno.

Since opening its doors in August 2012, Zibiru has garnered a strong loyal following with its made-from-scratch regional Italian cuisine. There is a bit of everything for everyone, from food enthusiasts to wine lovers, soul and jazz music fans to romantics looking for intimate dining and low conversation. Adorned with authentic details exuding old Bali charm, the space revives the romance of the past with its whitewashed facade, hand-carved wooden interiors and handmade furnishings. This homey, convivial feeling is one you get throughout the open air space the minute you step through its doors. It is a unique meeting point for the five senses, providing a little oasis from the noise and activity in Seminyak. 

Dine al fresco amidst lush tropical flora on a menu that showcases the best offerings from the field and market—fish arrives fresh daily, bread is homemade on location, pastas are handcrafted from scratch. Organic heirloom vegetables are harvested from Zibiru's own environmentally positive farm in the mountains of Bali. Zibiru is proud to welcome Chef Andrea Torelli to the team!

Food culture is an important aspect of Chef Andrea Torelli's persona. As a contestant on MasterChef Italia 5, Chef Andrea demonstrated his cooking talent on live TV which led to restaurant collaborations and teaching the art of Indonesian cuisine in Trento. This love of food culminated with a stint at the 2-star Michelin Villa Crespi Relais & Châteaux, helmed by famed Chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo.

Zibiru Restaurant and Bottega Italiana Bali is proud to announce that Chef Andrea Torelli has joined the team as Head Chef and will be working closely with Executive Chef/Restaurateur Luigi Calcagno to bring the flavours of Italy to life in new and unique ways.

Zibiru's gourmet marketplace aims to satisfy any appetite with a variety of Italian paninis (vegan/vegetarian options also available) made with homemade bread, Italian wine, a variety of housemade cheese (including homemade burrata and stracciatella), salumi (including homemade 'nduja), fresh pastas and housemade sauces. Each product comes with easy instructions for preparing and serving. 

From 5-7pm, Basilico, Bottega Italiana Seminyak offers traditional Italian-style happy hour: complimentary small bites from the kitchen with your glass of wine are sure to whet your appetite.
